You've got it all, but just need some lovely jubbly new fabric... so here it is :) Fabric per meter so you can have the perfect length!

Our low stretch fabric has been carefully selected for its texture (not too slippy, not too rough), it's thickness (because you need enough to grab but not too much) and of course its tensile strength. So as Goldilocks would say...

"It's just right!"

Ready to take your aerial arts to the next level? Whether you're performing with aerial silks (tissu), hammock, or sling, our low-stretch fabric is the perfect choice for both beginners and experienced aerialists. It’s carefully selected for its ideal balance of texture, thickness, and tensile strength – designed for better grip, ease of movement, and enhanced safety during aerial performances.

But Seriously this High Performance Aerial Silks Low Stretch Fabric ...

is carefully crafted for aerial arts, providing you with everything you need to climb, pose, and perform with confidence:

  • Easier to Climb: Low-stretch fabric provides the right amount of grip and control, making climbs easier and safer.
  • Improved Grip: Not too slippery, not too rough – giving you just the right feel for better traction.
  • Less Cinching: Unlike medium stretch fabrics, this fabric doesn’t cinch too tightly in knots or wraps, reducing discomfort and improving your performance.
  • Better Support: More supportive during static poses in aerial yoga, aerial silks, and hammock routines.

Why Choose Low Stretch fabric for Aerial Arts?

  • Ideal for Aerial Silks (Tissu), Hammock, and Sling setups.
  • Provides better control, comfort, and performance for aerialists and aerial yoga practitioners.
  • Helps avoid the “bite” feeling often found with medium stretch fabrics, giving you a smoother and safer practice.

How to Choose the Correct Fabric Length for Aerial Silks or Hammocks:

For Aerial Silks/Tissu:
  1. Measure the distance from the floor to the attachment point – this is your drop.
  2. Double your drop measurement, keeping in mind you’ll need extra fabric for wraps. We calculate drop lengths by multiplying the floor-to-attachment distance by 2, then adding 1-2 meters for tails. 6m height = 6x2=12 + 1-2m for tails = 13 or 14m of fabric.
For Aerial Hammock/Sling:
  1. Measure the distance from the floor to the attachment points.
  2. Multiply this distance by 2.
  3. For Aerial Yoga, subtract 1 meter. For Dance Hammocks, subtract 2 meters.

Care

Keep your aerial fabric performing at its best with a little regular care.

  • Machine wash on a gentle/delicate cycle.
  • Use a laundry bag to help protect your fabric from snags and unnecessary wear.
  • Air dry in the shade or tumble dry on low heat.
  • Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals, as they can weaken the fibres.
  • If you have an Aerial Hammock or Silky Sling, leave the runner loops attached... They are washing machine safe.
  • We recommend washing before use to improve grip and feel :)

Regular cleaning helps remove sweat, chalk, and dirt, keeping your fabric fresh and extending its lifespan.
